Complacency or Compliancy
Cambridge 8th June 2011: Marshall Fleet Solutions (MFS) recognises that its customers have enough to worry about providing the logistic operations to support their own businesses and understands that ensuring compliance and being in control of their environmental responsibilities for Land, Air and Water are high on the watch lists.
As the UK’s leading provider for mobile services for cargo and vehicle heating, cooling, lifting and lowering, MFS recognises that there are high levels of obligation and compliancy to meet. As the sector leaders MFS ensures that their customers, the general public and the environment are safe in their hands.
MFS has full Safe Contractor Accreditation so customers can be sure that MFS’ over 150 mobile engineers are fully competent to work on vehicles, whether on-site or at the road side wherever and whenever needed across the UK. The engineers have all undergone full waste handling training, endorsed by the Environment Agency which has also issued MFS licences to transport, transfer and store waste for all its UK locations.
MFS’s longstanding quality management system is certified to ISO 9000-2008. Coupled with the company’s in-house training centre, this ensures the skill levels of the Marshall engineers sets the benchmark for the market sector.
All engineers undergo dynamic risk assessment during their training, which teaches them how to make safe and professional decisions about their tasks. This training is updated and refreshed on a regular basis as part of the engineers’ continued professional development.
It is not just the engineers that are accredited. MFS’ training centre itself is City and Guilds approved meaning that graduates that pass through have a recognised qualification.
MFS Managing Director, Andrew Howells, commented “We are dedicated to delivery of a really high quality service to our customers. Our attention to compliancy and governance coupled with our highly skilled and qualified engineers backed by our UK based 24/7/365 call centre in Cambridge shows our commitment to ‘Working for You’ and helping our customers to keep on the road at all times and in all weathers.”
