Cooling and Heating, Lifting and Lowering Central To
Cambridge, 24th April 2012: Cooling and heating, lifting and lowering, and fleet management are all part of the Marshall Fleet Solutions presence on stand 3A02 at the CV Show being held from 24 to 26 April 2012 at the NEC, Birmingham.
Central to the stand are two of the latest vehicle refrigeration units from Thermo King. The SLX 300 is a single temperature unit delivering reduced fuel costs, whisper-quiet operation, efficient load protection and unmatched ease of use. By minimising fuel consumption, engine emissions and operating noise, the SLX provides the ideal temperature control solution for an environmentally-responsible operation. With fuel representing over 50% of the total life cycle cost of a refrigeration unit, the SLX provides unrivalled fuel savings by stopping the unit when it is not needed and having a diesel/electric option for when the vehicle is parked up.
The V-300 Series comprises two-piece split units designed for fresh, frozen and deep frozen applications on small trucks and vans. The road compressor is powered by the vehicle’s engine. The V-300 MAX TC and TCI can manage two evaporators to provide temperature control for two compartments. Coupled with it will be a B-100, which is an all-electric unit that provides outstanding refrigeration capacity for small trucks and vans. The B-100 features an ultrathin, ceiling-mounted evaporator which increases payload space. The compressor is powered by the vehicle’s battery. An AC motor in the condenser allows the unit to run on electric stand-by. This combination allows high value items to be safely refrigerated even when the vehicle has stopped or is parked up.
“The CV Show is an important part of our annual marketing,” said Andrew Howells, Managing Director of Marshall Fleet Solutions. “It provides the opportunity for us to hear what the market is saying, what they are looking for going forwards and a chance to talk to our customers and future clients on how we can work with them to enable them to focus on delivering their solution whilst we focus on making sure they have the tools to do this.”
Amongst the team attending from Marshall Fleet Solutions will be the company’s new Sales and Marketing Director, Jonathan Vaines, who has recently joined the company from Wacker Neuson suppliers of plant equipment, where he was the UK Managing Director.
