Unique Surveillance and Evidence Capture Tool on Display at SOFIC for First Time

Market Harborough, Leicester, England, 22nd  May 2012;  Evidence collection, location data, surveillance and  illumination all rolled into one hand held torch is on show for the first in the United States on booth 12 at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) and Exposition being held at the Tampa Convention Centre, Florida, from 22 to 24 May 2012.

The Foxton GCF-200F is a professional handheld surveillance and evidence capture tool.  It provides the user with the ability to protect, control, train, manage, rescue and prosecute all in one easy to use and carry item. Its advanced features include day light and infra-red detection and GPS High Definition video recording with position, time and date stamp and a path tracking function when it is used in conjunction with Google Maps.

It is a multi-function high luminance 900Lm CREED LED Flashlight with a 300m range and includes a Morse SOS mode for rescue. Built into the device is a 1080p HD Camcorder, 12Mp Camera with x4 digital zoom for data capture, E–Compass, GPS, and Infra–Red Night Vision.  When it is fitted with protective diver’s caps it is waterproof to 100m. The integral software allows GEOTAG video replay with path tracking and distance measurement and using Google Maps it provides position, time and date stamps for evidence data.

The Foxton GCF-200F is included in the Foxton Torch Kit, comprising of a rugged water tight STORM transit case featuring two lockable hasps, custom identification plate and a range of accessories to meet military kit stores and operational requirements.  The GCF-200 conforms to Mil STD 810F.

The GCF-200F is supplied to MIL SPEC 6061 T6 in Hard Anodized Sand (Desert Tan) or as the GCF-200 Black Matt finish in the Foxton Torch Kit both with a NATO Stock Number.

Foxton Global is showing its unique GCF-200F on the United Kingdom’s Trade and Industry display where members of the British Army will be demonstrating the capabilities to visitors to the show.
